For stabilization of the peroneal tendon
An open weave 10 mm x 500 mm Poly-Tape implant is recommended for stabilization of the peroneal tendons in the ankle. The procedure allows the surgeon to stabilize the peroneal tendons successfully, without altering the anatomy of the structures surrounding the lateral malleolus.
Indications
The 10 mm x 500 mm Poly-Tape is indicated for repair of the peroneal tendons in the ankle.

How does it work?

- 1Two parallel tunnels are drilled in the lateral malleolus and the ends of the Poly-Tape are passed through
- 2The Poly-Tape is secured with a reef knot anterior to the lateral malleolus
- 3A single tunnel is drilled obliquely in the lateral surface of the calcaneus, and the Poly-Tape is passed through
- Two parallel tunnels are drilled in the lateral malleolus and the ends of the Poly-Tape are passed through1
