For Quadriceps Tendon Reconstruction

The QuadsTape System comprises a wide, open weave Poly-Tape implant (30 mm x 800 mm) with associated disposable instrumentation to repair a ruptured quadriceps tendon, without the need to harvest autogenous tissue.

Indications

The QuadsTape System is indicated for patients requiring quadriceps tendon reconstruction. It is particularly recommended for the following cases:

  • Delayed diagnosis
  • Undesirable prolonged immobilization
  • In situ total knee arthroscopy
  • Previous patellectomy
  • Complex patellar fractures

Malleable Probe with eye, stainless steel, 20 cm (supplied sterile)

Rigid Probe with eye, stainless steel, 20 cm (supplied sterile)

  • 1The Poly-Tape is passed transversely through the proximal end of the patellar tendon
  • 2Both ends of the Poly-Tape are proximally crossed anterior to the patella
  • 3The Poly-Tape is passed through the quadriceps tendon
  • 4The proximal ends of the Poly-Tape are knotted
  • 5Tacking sutures are used to stabilize the Poly-Tape
  • The Poly-Tape is passed transversely through the proximal end of the patellar tendon1
